History
Tracing its roots in the Cedar Valley back to 1986, JFS is an independent investment management firm located in Cedar Falls, Iowa. We serve individuals, families, business owners, and employer sponsored retirement plans in 18 states. Originally located in downtown Main Street, we purchased a new office building in June 2006 on 411 Clay Street, Cedar Falls. Our desire is to consistently develop lifelong relationships with clients who desire to make wise decisions with their money.
Our Unique Perspective
We believe that delivering a superior client experience requires tremendous collaboration from a great team. This is why our advisors do not retain individual clients. Rather, all of our clients benefit from the expertise and thought leadership of all advisors working together on their financial plan and investment portfolio. Additionally, our strategic alliance with LPL Financial allows us true independence. Different from many broker dealers and investment management firms, LPL Financial has no proprietary products to sell, no investment banking relationships to promote or other business conflicts that would get in the way of us providing unbiased recommendations.
